Key2K53 terms (draft)

Key2K53 is driving-school management software operated by Lea [surname], trading as Key2K53 [registered business name and number once registered], [address]. Contact: leandra@key2k53.co.za.

The school owner creates the school's account and invites instructors and learners. Each person uses their own login and keeps it private. The owner is responsible for who they invite and for the information the school adds.

New schools get a free trial. After that, Key2K53 costs a monthly fee based on active staff (the owner plus instructors who have accepted their invitation), shown on the Pricing page. Learners never pay Key2K53. Monthly payments are collected by PayFast and renew automatically until cancelled.

If a payment fails, the owner is reminded and the school keeps working during a grace period (currently 7 days). After that the school is paused: everything stays visible and nothing is deleted, but changes cannot be saved until the subscription is paid.

Owners can cancel at any time by contacting us; the subscription then ends at the end of the paid month. Before leaving, owners can download their reports and learner records. [Refund policy to be confirmed.]

Learner invoices are the school's own business. If a school connects its own PayFast account, learner payments go directly to the school; Key2K53 never holds that money.

The school is the responsible party for its learners' and instructors' information; Key2K53 processes it on the school's behalf as its operator, as described in the Privacy notice and the operator agreement. Schools must have consent to add learners, including a parent or guardian's consent for learners under 18.

Do not misuse the platform, try to access another school's records, share logins, upload malicious content or use the platform for anything unlawful.

We work to keep Key2K53 available and secure but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features and will tell schools about important changes.

Key2K53 is a tool to help run a driving school. Schools remain responsible for their lessons, bookings, prices, tax and legal duties. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees the school paid in the previous three months. [Have this clause reviewed.]

We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page, and owners will be told about material changes.
